Hello, In any face massage the strokes used are always upward and outward ie. From the centre line of the face towards the edge of the cheek bones. It is not possible to understand the strokes, their movement, pressure, techinique of holding hands, etc by reading directions. It is necessary to have hands on experience under a trained professional. Other alternative is to purchase a DVD demonstrating the facial massage. But direct traning cannot be discounted at all.
