Hi, The physical and emotional effects of the ‘Fight or Flight’ hormone adrenaline may be experienced in different parts of the mind and body by different individuals depending upon their unique emotional and physical constitution. Hence, a wide range of oils could be used to treat the wide range of stress related symptoms. Stress can be good or bad. It is the bad stress which is draining and makes feel tired, fearful and out of control with life. The emotions experienced are usually anxiety, panic, anger, depression, nervousness, tension etc. Essential oils which have relaxing and calming properties may be used such as Lavender, Roman Chamomile, neroli, ylang ylang. Sandalwood, Clary sage, Nutmeg, vetiver, marjoram are some oils which may be used when the stress levels are at a peak. Sanna (Aromatherapist)
