Hi,
I do not see any reason why an aromatherapy massage cannot be taken along with acupuncture treatment provided you are not combining them at the same time.  Aromatherapy massage works with the lymphatic system of the body whereas Acupunture deals with the energy meridians in the body.  An aroma massage can support any other line of treatment except homeopathy as the strong oils hinder the effect of homeo remedies.  So please clarify with your aromatherapist as to why she said the two cannot go together.  Please note, I am intending that you will use aromatherapy massage at separate times and not while the acupuncture needles are stuck in the body.  I hope this helps you.  Give me your valuable feedback
Blissfully yours,
In love & Light
