Urolithiasis or kidney stone is a solid material produced in the kidneys and can be small or big.

Symptoms of kidney stones

- Blood in urine
- Nausea and vomitting
- Fever
- Burning sensation while urinating
- Back pain
- Cloudy, bad-smelling urine
 
Causes for kidney stones

-Infection in the urinary system
-Urine acidity
-Increased intake of spinach, beets and chocolate
-Family history
-Hyperuricosuria
-Excess vitamin D intake
-Urinary tract blockage  

Effects of kidney stones

- Blockage of urinary tract, thereby resulting in damage.
- Pressure and pain resulting in bleeding, damage and infection.
- Urine flow is blocked.
