Advice on Grief: Grief

Hi, I need more information to address your problem. It is necessary to know the cause for the grief which will help to select oils which can effectively help you overcome your grief. Is the grief over the loss of someone, something, some action taken by you or some event in your life? Depression, numbness any where in the body or in general towards life or emotional numbness, isolating oneself etc are some of the ways grief may be expressed. It is better to deal with grief and release it from our body and consciousness before any serious health problem arises. Grief mainly affects our heart chakra, the energy centre in our body which is responsible or processes emotions like love, happiness and joy as well as sadness, sorrow and hurt. The best oil to balance this chakra is the rose oil. Blend 3-4 drops of rose absolute in 10 ml of carrier oil and apply twice daily or more in a clockwise direction on the heart chakra while affirming ‘ I willingly release the need to grieve over that which I had no control. I choose to welcome peace and love into my entire being.” Alternatively inhale the rose oil from a tissue or vial whenever you feel heavy with emotions. Other alternative methods like EFT can also effectively help in getting over grief. Use uplifting oils like bergamot, ylang ylang, geranium, a few drops in the diffuser to keep your mood light and happy.
