Essential Oils To Get Rid Of Bad Breath

Consult a doctor or your dentist to find a suitable essential oil that can be used to treat bad breath. The essential oils, though obtained from plant matter, can be toxic when ingested, therefore a lot of care has to be taken while choosing and using the product. Tea tree oil, which is bactericidal in nature, can be orally used to kill the bacteria in the mouth. However, the oil should first be diluted with equal parts of vegetable oil before being used.

Peppermint and fennel essential oils are commercially used in many of our everyday products like mouthwash and toothpastes. These are known for their properties to treat bad breath and therefore are used on a commercial scale. You can use these oils too, but again, proper knowledge of how to use the oils is important.
